Find trainers and boots that fit from a Chinese mm size chart, then price the pair to Germany

Last updated .

Short answer: Chinese shoe listings quote either a 码 number close to EU sizing or a foot length in mm, and the safe check is to compare the seller's insole length with a pair that already fits you. A hypothetical ¥200 pair plus the ¥7 video landed in Germany at €77.80 on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE using the 27 Oct 2026 estimator, with the pair boxed at an estimated 1.30 kg.

Chinese shoe sizes: 码, millimetres and the EU number

A Chinese shoe listing can quote size three ways: a 码 number that usually matches EU sizing (42码), a foot length in mm (260), or both side by side. The mm figure is foot length, written 脚长, and the shoe's inside length is 内长 or 鞋垫长. The two are easy to mix up. A shoe must be longer than the foot, so a 260 mm foot needs a shoe with an inside length above 260 mm.

The table gives a rough foot-length-to-EU guide using the usual rule of thumb (foot in cm plus 1.5 cm, times 1.5). It is an approximation; makers round differently, so use it only to cross-check a seller's chart. The size converter and Chinese size chart guide cover clothing and shoes together.

Know whether a number is the foot or the shoe before you pick a size.

Comparing insole length with a pair you already own

The most reliable method needs only a ruler. Take out the insole from the pair that fits you best, set the heel at the zero mark and read the toe end in mm. Then compare it with the seller's 内长 or "insole length" row. If the seller lists 270 mm and your best-fitting pair has a 268 mm insole, the new pair should fit in the same way; if the listing gives only a 码 number, ask the seller in chat for the inside length.

Widths and shapes differ, so a matching length is a start. Wide feet should look for the 宽版 (wide fit) tag, and many listings give only whole sizes, so you may need to round up. A wrong size can be returned within 120 hours of the item being "Warehoused", but the seller must accept and you pay both domestic shipping legs plus ¥5 (LitBuy help, read 19 Oct 2026), so a good measurement pays.

Prices are examples, euro figures use LitBuy's displayed ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 Oct 2026), above typical bank rates, and the weight is our boxed planning figure for shoes, an estimate. The 10,000+ product catalogue behind the grid above holds runners and skate shoes.

Sole type tells you more about a pair than the upper does.

Keep the original packaging or let the warehouse drop it

Original shoe boxes are often removed at LitBuy's warehouse unless you ask to keep them. The choice shifts which price step a pair falls into. We plan shoes at 1.30 kg boxed. We found no unboxed figure on LitBuy's pages, so the second case below is a labelled hypothetical of 0.90 kg. Boxes also add volume: with LitBuy's divisor of 8000, a box of 33 × 22 × 13 cm (example dimensions) counts as 1.18 kg on its own.

A ¥200 pair plus the ¥7 video to Germany, boxed and unboxed

Pair: ¥200 × 0.158€31.60

¥7 20-second video × 0.158€1.11

Shipping, boxed est. 1.30 kg (2 kg step)€45.09

Boxed pair landed€77.80

Shipping, unboxed hypothetical 0.90 kg (1 kg step)€30.42

Unboxed pair landed€63.13

Two unboxed pairs, hypothetical 1.80 kg: both pairs and videos + €45.09€110.50

The gap is €14.67 for one pair. Two unboxed pairs come to about €55.25 each on the same line, which shows why a second pair is cheaper per pair. Two boxed pairs, at an estimated 2.6 kg, go beyond the 2 kg quote, so use the estimator for them. For the UK, a 2 kg step was £28.38 and a 1 kg step £16.83. For the US, $72.41 against $41.17. Keep the box when the pair is a gift or you may need to resell it, and drop it when the shoe is for you. Full fee detail is on the landed price calculator.

Leaving the box out moves a pair down a price step in our example.

The ¥7 shoe video and the ¥1 extras

LitBuy lists a 20-second shoe video at ¥7, about €1.11, for footwear only; extra still photos cost ¥1 (about €0.16). The routine set is generally three to six photos. What the warehouse films is its choice, so request stills first (sole, insole stamp, heel from behind, toe box from above) and keep the video for pairs you cannot judge from stills. Colour difference and wear effect are not part of LitBuy's check. The QC photos guide sets out the sequence, and the QC finder lists pre-purchase photo sources.

Stills first; pay for the video only when a pair stays uncertain.

Pairing and where shoe rows come from

A boxed pair fills about two-thirds of the 2 kg step, leaving 700 g for a tee or socks: see combine parcels, light add-ons and slides for lighter footwear. Shoe rows can be found in Reddit threads. In German the words are "Sneaker" and "Laufschuhe", with sizes in EU numbers. Without a LitBuy account? Send the row to us via the WhatsApp QR on the contact page: one delivered price, photos before dispatch, pay per order.

Use the leftover 700 g for light pieces, not a second boxed pair.

Shoe questions

How do I compare a seller's insole length with my own shoe?

Pull the insole from a pair that fits, set the heel at zero on a ruler and read the toe end in mm. Compare that with the listing's 内长 (inside length). Matching within a couple of millimetres means a similar fit in length, though width and last shape can still differ. If the listing has no inside length, ask the seller in chat before ordering.

What do 码 and a mm figure mean on a shoe listing?

码 is the size number, usually the EU number, so 42码 is roughly EU 42. A mm figure such as 260 is normally the foot length, not the shoe, so the shoe's inside length must be larger. Sellers sometimes print both. Check which one the chart row is giving, then cross-check with the approximate table on this page.

What does the ¥7 shoe video cost in euros?

¥7 is about €1.11 at LitBuy's displayed rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 on 27 Oct 2026, and it is a 20-second clip offered for footwear only. Extra still photos cost ¥1, about €0.16 each. So for the price of seven stills you get one short clip. Colour difference is not covered by LitBuy's check either way.

If the packaging stays on, which price step does one pair fall into?

At our estimated 1.30 kg for a boxed pair, one pair lands in the 2 kg step: €45.09 all-in to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE on 27 Oct 2026, against €30.42 for the 1 kg step. We found no unboxed weight on LitBuy's pages, so a pair without packaging is a hypothetical until you pre-pack or check the packed weight.

How long do I have to return a pair that is the wrong size?

LitBuy's help centre, read on 19 Oct 2026, gives 120 hours from the "Warehoused" status for a return before shipping abroad. The seller must accept it, and you pay both domestic shipping legs plus ¥5. The deadline is short, so measure insole length against a pair you own before ordering rather than relying on a return.

Can a second pair fit in the same parcel without a big price jump?

Often yes if both are unboxed. Two hypothetical ¥200 pairs at 1.80 kg landed at about €55.25 per pair in the 2 kg step, against €77.80 for one boxed pair alone. Two boxed pairs at an estimated 2.6 kg go beyond the 2 kg quote, so LitBuy's estimator should be used for the exact price.
